The Office of the University Registrar is seeking a Transcript and Certification
Specialist to support service orientation toward a variety of office constituents, including students. Knowledge of University policies and
procedures is preferred. Good communication skills are required for responding to in-person, telephone, and email inquiries regarding
academic records and the interpretation of University policies and procedures.
Job Summary
Advises
students and prospective students on admissions, financial aid, academic requirements, career development, and/or campus activities. Assists
in implementation of program activities. Works with Admissions and Career Services to provide quality program information and administer
multiple types of information sessions. Corresponds with those seeking admissions standards and academic and non-academic programs. Assists
with special projects and coordination of objectives.
Essential Functions
The nature of the work is typical office work and requires
strong communication skills and organization. The ability to exercise independent judgment is necessary. Duties include processing various
transcript-related requests, answering questions across the breadth of the office, updating confidential student information, investigating
and responding to student inquiries.
Physical Effort
Typical office duties with minimal physical effort.
