Job Summary
The Enterprise Data Management and Analytics (EDMA) team at Information Technology Services (ITS) within the University System of Georgia is currently seeking an individual to fulfill a position as an intermediate level Software Developer. This individual will have in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience on dashboard and report design and development on Microsoft Power BI platform. Collaborating with business analysts, and internal and external customers, this individual will be responsible for producing deliverables in the form of reports, dashboards and raw data sets based on business requirements and technical specifications that direct decisions, lead planning, and increase strategic intelligence. The Software Developer will also provide production support for reporting and content presentation applications, activities include but not limited to data analysis, report and dashboard validation and issue resolution, and system enhancement testing. The Software Developer will assist with the development and implementation of best practice processes and procedures throughout the BI toolset, and manage task completion across all implementation phases utilizing department prescribed SDLC methodologies, and in adherence to documentation and development practices.
