The Opportunity:
UCF’s Student Success and Well-Being – Registrar’s Office is currently accepting applications for a Registrar Specialist II. This position has primary responsibility for customer service with oversight of the front desk area, transcript requests, and department email account.
This is an Auxiliary-funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.
Responsibilities:
Leadership of Registrar’s Office front desk student support services.
Assists with course registration, registration holds, course withdrawal, grade forgiveness, name and address updates, residency reclassifications, readmission, major and minor change requests, student records review, transient student requests, enrollment certification requests, and degree audits.
Oversees the functions related to providing official university transcripts which includes receiving requests.
Provides current and prospective students, faculty, staff and the public with University and Registrar’s Office policy and procedure information.
Forwards telephone and email inquiries to appropriate Registrar’s Office and University personnel as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory experience, especially in a customer service role.
Experience in higher education.
Excellent problem-solver and customer advocate.
Resourceful and eager to learn as this position is a generalist provider of registrar’s office services.
Work independently under stringent deadlines and with minimal supervision.
