Summary

The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine
with Dr. Carla Alvarez Rivas’s research team is currently seeking a Research Scholar.

The scholarly
research activities will consist of:

• Maintain animal (mouse) colony: including breeding, genotyping.
• Sampling of
  specimens and preparation for FACS.
• Histological and molecular (mRNA and protein expression) analyses.
• Bioinformatic
  Analyses.

Minimum
Qualifications

• D.D.S./D.M.D. degree or the equivalent from a foreign university in the relevant discipline, such as
  B.D.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful publications and/or research work recognized by professional
  associates in the field of oral research.

Salary Range
$35,566 – $55,000

Additional Salary
Information
The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of
posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected
candidate.
