PT Head Coach Women’s Volleyball Contract

Job Description

Overview:

The Head
Coach for the Women’s Volleyball team is responsible for preparing and training the team to compete strongly throughout their season. The
ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of the sport, excellent motivational skills, and the ability to foster
teamwork.

Main Duties:

• Recruit student-athletes for the Women’s Volleyball program.
• Conduct
  productive practice sessions.
• Coordinate game and practice schedules.
• Oversee the management of equipment and provide
  recommendations as needed.
• Transport student-athletes to and from games and practices as necessary.
• Supervise the
  coaching staff.
• Have a solid background in volleyball and a willingness to embrace new ideas and philosophies.
• Communicate effectively and relate well to students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous playing/coaching of respective sport preferred. Knowledge of rules associated with sports
is required. A valid driver’s license is required.

Salary: $7500.00 per season
