JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Brandywine, located just outside of Philadelphia, in Media, Pa., is seeking a head men’s soccer coach. This opening is part-time. Penn State Brandywine is in the process of transitioning into the NCAA DIII. Brandywine began their first of a three year provisional process September 1, 2024.
Job Duties
The Head Men’s Soccer Coach will manage all operations for the soccer program, including but not limited to:
Scheduling and coaching practices.
Scheduling home and away competitions.
Monitoring annual operational and recruiting budgets.
Ensuring institutional, UEC, and NCAA obligations are met as head coach.
Selecting, training, and supervising assistant coaches; and recruiting quality student-athletes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.
Employment with the University for this opening will require the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
