JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Harrisburg, a member of the NCAA Division III, is accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Coach for the sport of Men’s Basketball with the Department of Athletics.
Job Duties
- Assisting the Head Coach in recruiting and program development, practice preparation and game day coaching.
Requirements and Qualifications

Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.

Employment with the University for this opening will require the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
Hours will vary between 10 to 15 hours/week (off-season) and 25 to 35 hours/week (in-season). This is an hourly non-exempt opening during the off-season and a non-exempt job paid monthly in-season.
