Actively participates   in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally   respectful to all. The outpatient clinical pharmacist, as the specialty medication expert, provides the highest   quality pharmaceutical care to the patients of Advent Health Outpatient pharmacy. This role will primarily   be working with the Outpatient Pharmacy Specialty Department. Duties will include providing monitoring   and care for patients through the specialty medication process. The clinical pharmacist reviews   prescriptions for accuracy and takes appropriate steps for clarification or correction if necessary. The   clinical pharmacist monitors daily workflow and works with specialty pharmacy team to meet production   goals and complete specialty prescriptions. Assures that medication, supplies, delivery, and follow-up are   done appropriately. Communicates with the patient/physician as needed regarding drug interactions,   medication identification, sensitivities, allergies, and all issues regarding safety and wellbeing of the   patient.
