Position Summary

Prepare women’s ice hockey goalies for game situations through coaching the position during
practice or in individual goalie session.

Major Responsibilities

* Understanding of, and adherence to, the Utica University Athletic Department philosophy.
* When appropriate assist with the recruitment and retention of current and prospective students
giving them an opportunity to perform, and better themselves as athletes and individuals.
* Plan and run goalie practices sessions to ensure students are organized, prepared and have the
ability to safely execute the goalie position.
* Provide leadership to ensure that students have a positive experience.
* When appropriate, assist with monitoring students’ academic success, providing/seeking
academic direction when necessary.

Education & Experience Qualifications

* Associate degree or greater preferred.
* 3-5 years coaching experience in the goalie position.
* Must be certified in first aid, CPR and AED.
