Frontend Developer Contract

Job Description: i4D Parishkaar Technologies, a small technology startup in Hyderabad, is seeking a talented frontend developer to build a custom online design editor for notebook and planner pages. This editor will allow users to create, draw, and customize designs directly on planner pages or notebook templates, which can then be ordered through WooCommerce. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing similar design tools and integrating them with WooCommerce.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an online design editor with features like drawing, adding lines, and customizing notebook/planner pages.
• Integrate the design editor seamlessly with WooCommerce to allow users to place custom design orders.
• Ensure the design editor is responsive and user-friendly across various devices.
• Optimize the tool for performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement customer feedback and feature requests.
• Debug and troubleshoot any technical issues.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Fabric.js, and HTML5 Canvas for interactive design features.
• Solid understanding of PHP and WooCommerce plugin development and integration.
• Expertise in CSS for responsive design.
• Experience in building or integrating design/editing tools for web applications.
• Knowledge of MySQL or similar databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs for WooCommerce integration.
• Experience in Git or similar version control systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ReactJS or Vue.js for enhancing UI/UX.
• Knowledge of WebGL for more advanced design rendering.
• Prior experience in developing custom WooCommerce plugins.
• Understanding of e-commerce workflows and customer journey optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. Those without Computer or Engineering backgrounds can also apply, provided they have a proven developer or programming skill set. We value experience and knowledge more than qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of development experience, with a strong focus on front-end design tools and WooCommerce integration. You need not have prior employment experience, but development experience even in your own projects will be considered.
