We are proud to be revolutionizing health care with visionary leadership and world-class resources   The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for direct and indirect preoperative patient care to the patient undergoing an endoscopy procedure. The endoscopy technician will at all times observe patient safety and maintain a safe environment for patient and staff. The endoscopy technician will maintain aseptic technique and be responsible for safe handling and cleaning of equipment. The value you’ll bring to the team: ·       Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and supplies needed for specific endoscopy procedures. ·       Knowledge of disinfection techniques for endoscopes. ·       Functions as assistant during procedures. ·       Knowledgeable in handling of specimens. ·       Effective communication with patients and team members. ·       Responds to emergency situations. ·       Participates in cost containment. ·       Maintains skills competencies. ·       Maintains clean and orderly work environment. ·       Coordinates daily technician assignments and technician call schedule. ·       Assist with the training and orientation of newly hired technicians and others as needed and required documentation of training. ·       Assist with the ordering of supplies and maintenance of equipment and documentation of repairs.     * Terms:  12 month Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation Sign-on Eligibility: · Applicable experience required. Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:   ·       Must be proficient in the English language. ·       Knowledge of sterile technique ·       High school graduate ·       Experience in ENDOSCOPY   KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED: ·       LPN, CNA/PCT or Scrub tech certification   This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
