Essential Function
The Coordinator, Degree Audit will oversee higher education platforms related to student retention and completion, including Colleague, degree audit and student planning tool. This position is responsible for upkeep and enhancements of the degree audit system, student planning, program maps and curriculum tracks. Additionally, this position will be responsible for reporting related information to support degree completion and course schedule development based on student needs.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Project Management, Information Technology or equivalent experience, in the assessment of the AVP of Information Systems.
Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in academics and/or student affairs in a higher education setting or related experience. 2-5 years’ experience using Student Information Systems (SIS), Degree audit systems (Ellucian Colleague, Student Planning preferred).
Skills: Demonstrated skill in technology and software systems including the Microsoft Office suite. Organizational and Project Management skills. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues, and work effectively with vendors, program services, research, and colleagues across campus.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with colleagues to scribe academic requirements into Student Planning tool.
2. Maintain list of college approved majors and programs in Colleague, Student Planning, Curriculum Tracks and other systems as needed, ensuring curriculum accuracy and consistency across systems.
3. Develop and support Degree Audit enhancements, optimization, and upgrades; troubleshoot problems in collaboration with departments across campus.
4. Generate reports, data, and audits from degree audit, student planning tool and Colleague to inform curricular change impacts and assist with scheduling projections and recommendations based on student progression.
5. Coordinates the collection, analysis, verification, and maintenance of Midterm enrollment data for credit courses in accordance with ICCB requirements.
6. Collaborate with faculty and colleagues to develop and maintain program map and academic program plan templates.
7. Train college colleagues in Degree Audit, Colleague, and Self-Service Student Planning as needed. Prepare and maintain process documentation and user training materials.
8. Communicate and manage any system changes, upgrades, issues, or clarifications to end users.
9. Champion best practices and strategic deployment of unused or underutilized platform features.
10. Colleague data entry and validation, including student programs, course schedules, course information and restrictions.
11. Provide functional and technical support and troubleshooting to end users, escalating as necessary to appropriate staff or vendors.
12. Oversee applicable student reporting, developing reports of key metrics and data.
13. Collaborate with departments across campus for data management and reporting.
14. Assist with student support services as needed.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Annual base salary of $54,842 with full benefits package;
