Bilingual Medical Biller Contract

MedVA, a leading virtual assistant company in the healthcare sector, is in search of a talented Bilingual Medical Biller – Spanish to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will not only be responsible for managing billing processes but also for effectively communicating with Spanish-speaking patients and providers. Your expertise will play an essential role in ensuring smooth and accurate billing operations while enhancing customer satisfaction by addressing their inquiries in their preferred language.

• Review and verify accuracy of medical billing documents
• Assign appropriate billing codes and modifiers
• Submit claims electronically to insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues
• Handle patient billing inquiries and disputes in both English and Spanish
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and requirements
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and team members

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Medical Biller (RCM)
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Proficiency in medical billing software and EMR/EHR systems

• Strong understanding of medical coding and billing practices (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
• Experience in claims and denials management

• Knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement procedures

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Medical-related courses preferred but not required
• Associate degree in Medical Billing or a related field preferred
