ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF LAW (TENURE TRACK)
Willamette University College of Law anticipates hiring at least one full-time entry-level Tenure Track faculty member to begin in Fall 2025. We are open to all areas of expertise and are especially interested in individuals who can teach Torts, Professional Responsibility, Employment Law, Labor Law, ADR and Client Counseling, Environmental and Natural Resources Law, and Evidence. A commitment to experiential and simulation-based learning is a plus. Applicants must possess strong academic credentials, a commitment to scholarship, and the skills necessary to communicate their expertise to colleagues and their students. Willamette University is a small, highly selective private university of 2500 students with campuses in Salem and Portland, Oregon. Its undergraduate and graduate programs include the College of Law, the College of Arts and Sciences, Atkinson Graduate School of Management, the School of Computing and Information Sciences, and the Pacific Northwest College of Art. The College of Law is located on the University’s main Salem campus, across the street from the State Capitol, Supreme Court, and State administrative offices. We are especially interested in applicants who are excited to live in the Willamette Valley, Portland, Salem, or the Pacific Northwest region.

Typical Work Schedule
Monday -Friday, 8am to 5pm; occasionally later if classes or service obligations are scheduled in the evenings (which may occasionally happen in consultation with the relevant Dean).
