Assistant or Associate Professor, Industrial Engineering R-1462 Contract

The Industrial Engineering (INEN) Program within the College of Engineering and Science (COES) at Louisiana Tech University invites
applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. We are seeking exceptional candidates who
possess a doctorate in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates who are nearing the completion of their doctoral degree
and will graduate by September 1, 2025, are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities: Successful candidates will be expected
to:

· Engage in multidisciplinary research initiatives within the College.

· Demonstrate strong teaching
capabilities and deliver high-quality educational experiences.

· Develop, lead, and sustain a research program that secures
external funding.

· Supervise and mentor master’s and doctoral students.

· Contribute to the professional
service and governance of the College.

About the Industrial Engineering Program: Established in
1956, the Industrial Engineering program at Louisiana Tech is one of the oldest programs west of the Mississippi River. Our faculty support
the educational needs for the ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, the Master of Science in Engineering
(Industrial Engineering concentration), and doctoral degrees in Engineering and Technology Management. Faculty are actively involved in
research funded by notable organizations, including the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Air Force, and advise students in
multidisciplinary Ph.D. programs.
