Adjunct Professor – Philosophy Contract

Description

Saint Joseph Seminary College in Covington, Louisiana, is seeking an adjunct professorof philosophy
to teach

1-2 of the following four courses for the Spring 2025 semester (January 21 – May 8):

  •  PHI 3312
    Medieval Philosophy (3 credit hours)
  •  PHI 4322 Philosophical Anthropology (3 credit hours)
  •  PHI 4332 Natural
    Theology (3 credit hours), and/or
  • PHI 3333 Political Philosophy (2 credit hours)

Preference will be shown toward
applicants who:

  1. can teach two courses (as opposed to only one)
  2. can teach Philosophical Anthropology and/or Political
    Philosophy
  3. have a familiarity with the Catholic intellectual tradition
  4. have a Ph.D.

Requirements

  • A master degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teachingdiscipline
    (philosophy).
