Job Title: Adjunct Instructor of Exercise Science

Reports To: Chair, Exercise Science Department
Location: Remote or Residential

Time Requirements: Semester
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Summary Description: The Adjunct Instructor will assist in the building and/or teaching of fully online or in-person EXSC undergraduate courses.

Essential Functions:

• As an intentionally Christian academic community, Christian employees are hired to advance the mission of Carson-Newman as expressed in our strategic plan, Acorns to Oaks.
• Build and/or teach undergraduate EXSC courses.

Education: Must have at least a master’s degree in Exercise Science or an allied health related field.

Experience: Teaching and practitioner experience is preferred.

Required Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills; Advanced organizational skills; Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders.
