Anderson University’s Office of the Registrar invites applications for a full-time Records and Commencement Coordinator. Anderson

Reporting to the Associate Registrar, the Records and Commencement Coordinator will perform comprehensive administrative
functions within the undergraduate (traditional/non-traditional) and graduate programs related to the Office of the Registrar, serving as a
central resource for faculty, staff, and students for student records and processes. With an emphasis on excellent customer service and
personal attention, this position will have direct contact with students and parents in answering questions and addressing concerns and will
ensure all services are performed hospitably, in an overarching effort to meet and maintain the university’s goals. As a key member of
the Office of the Registrar, this position will skillfully collaborate with other departments to ensure all federal, state, and university
policies and procedures involving student records are upheld. As a records and commencement coordinator, this role will cooperatively assist
with planning and communicating commencement and graduation activities, ordering and packaging diplomas and other graduation supplies, as
needed. Additional assistance preparing enrollment/degree verification forms, materials for employers or lenders, evaluating graduation
applications, or related duties may be assigned.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree combined with
at least two years of experience in a Registrar’s Office in a university or college setting is preferred. Ability to work on multiple
software systems such as Ellucian PowerCampus, National Student Clearinghouse, Workday Student, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office
Suite is preferred. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations and general business publications is required in
addition to the ability to understand institutional policies and procedures, FERPA, or other federal and state regulations. A warm and
friendly disposition, excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality of student
information is essential.
