Min T/E Requirements
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Higher Education, Student Development or related field from and accredited college or university with at least two years of experience working with programs designed to support the academic success of undergraduate students required. This position requires strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and the ability to collaborate and develop strong, positive working relationships with others. Demonstrated flexibility and proven interpersonal skills are essential. Applicant must be technologically sound and have supervisory experience.

Primary Purpose of Position
Reporting to the Director for Transfer Transition & Engagement, the Assistant Director for Transfer Transition & Engagement will provide leadership for the execution and coordination of initiatives to support the transition, engagement, persistence, and graduation of transfer students to successfully integrate them into the UNCP community.

Reporting to the Director for Transfer Transition & Engagement, the Assistant Director for Transfer Transition & Engagement will provide leadership for the execution and coordination of initiatives to support the transition, engagement, persistence, and graduation of transfer students to successfully integrate them into the UNCP community.
Management Preference
Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation. Experience in programs relating to student success, retention, academic advising, or admissions. Experience with or demonstrated understanding of the specific developmental needs of adult, first-generation, and transfer students.
