Position Summary

Teach and mentor student-athletes to develop self
confidence and leadership abilities as they work towards achieving their goals through individual hard work. Provide the leadership and
direction for a highly competitive NCAA Division I athletic program, maintain a balance with academic excellence and uphold the standards of
the university and the Athletic Department. Create and maintain a positive, nurturing environment for the student-athletes to advance their
knowledge and skills, both athletically and personally. Collaborate with the men’s team, as needed, in support of the entire William & Mary
Gymnastics Program.

Required
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and significant or extensive professional level of experience or specialized
  expertise.

Competencies:

• Skills or competencies related to the sport through previous playing and/or coaching experience;
• Demonstrated leadership abilities gained through prior playing and/or coaching experience in the sport;
• Demonstrated
  attention to detail and strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to lead small and
  large group discussions;
• Strong computer skills and the ability to utilize the latest advances in technology.
