Community College is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant Men’s & Women’s XC/Half Marathon Coach Position. This position will
assist the Head Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the JSCC Men’s & Women’s XC/Half Marathon Team.

Job
Duties

• Assist with the execution of practices and trainings
• Recruitment of student-athletes
• Travel
  planning
• Equipment maintenance
• Facilities maintenance
• Transportation (driving & coordination of
  travel)
• Coaching
• Possess the technical knowledge and teaching skills to prepare student-athletes for
  competitions.
• Recruit prospective student-athletes to participate in XC/Half Marathon
• Ensure compliance with both national
  and college policies
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

Minimum Qualifications

*
Associate degree from an accredited college or university
* Prior coaching experience
* A commitment to knowing and complying with
NJCAA, TCCAA, and institutional rules.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree preferred

* Ability to work with a diverse population
* Excellent interpersonal and
organizational skills
* Knowledge of intercollegiate sports operations
* Ability to travel extensively during the recruiting
process
* Ability to work in a highly dynamic and diverse university setting

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
