Position Summary:
The Head Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for all facets of conducting a successful women’s volleyball program at the NCAA Division 1 level. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics with regular interaction with the Director of NCAA Compliance and the Director of Business.
Duties may include:

• On the floor coaching during practice and competition
• Recruiting of top-quality student-athletes
• Fundraising
• Promotional and public relations activities
• Speaking engagements and media interviews
• Administration and coaching of summer camps
• Compliance with all NCAA, conference and university rules and regulations demonstrating professional integrity
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Intercollegiate volleyball coaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
• Successful Intercollegiate volleyball coaching experience
• Competitive experience as intercollegiate volleyball player
• Successful head or assistant coaching experience with NCAA Division I
• Ability to recruit top-quality student-athletes at the NCAA Division I level
• Familiarity with Northwest recruiting areas
• Demonstrated administrative, public relations, and organizational skills
• Ability to establish good rapport and working relationships with student-athletes, administration, coaching staffs, university personnel, and the general public
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to comply with NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations
• Coaching and administrative experience with summer camps, if desired
