Head Women’s Golf Coach Contract

Job Title: Head Women’s Golf Coach

Department: Athletics

Reports To: Athletic Director

Location: On-site

FLSA Status: Exempt

Time Requirements: Full time Weekdays and Weekends (Depending on golf events and tournaments)

Supervisory Responsibilities: Weekly Supervision of Graduate Assistant and paperwork as needed

Summary Description: Head Women’s Golf Coach. Team travel required, recruiting, budget maintenance, practice planning, academic advisement, player development. The Head Women’s Golf Coach needs to be able to connect with the team on and off the golf course. Lead on and off the golf course in a way that glorifies the mission of Carson-Newman.

Essential Functions:

• As an intentionally Christian academic community, Christian employees are hired to advance the mission of Carson-Newman as expressed in our strategic plan, Acorns to Oaks
• Direct all functions of the women’s golf team
• Travelling as required
• Recruit for women’s gold team
• Other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution

Experience: Coaching, Teaching, Knowledge of Golf

Required Skills: Golf Knowledge and Coaching Ability
