Description
This is a
part-time position and the assistant coach will be responsible for assisting with the development, coaching, organization, and management of
the softball team. Duties will include assisting with recruiting, game management, budget, equipment management, promotional activities,
fund-raising, player eligibility, and NCAA Division III rules compliance. Purchase College is a member of the Skyline Conference and a
member of Division III.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or related
field. Previous successful coaching experience at the high school or college level, excellent interpersonal and communications skills,
recruiting experience, and knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations as well as a valid driver’s license is
required.
