Tech Tutor Contract

I need someone to teach me how to connect to a phpMyAdmin MySQL database in cPanel using a .PHP document. I have experience connecting a .PHP website doc to a MySQL database in a localhost development environment using XAMPP. However, I have NOT had any success connecting a live website to a MySQL database. I have listened to many videos & read my articles without any luck.

Please note that I have beginner’s knowledge of PHP, MySQL & cPanel. Also, I do not have access to the Web Host Manager of the site at this point, so I am hoping that this connection can be established without the WHM configuration (unless it is absolutely necessary).

I assume that an Hour should be enough to get this walk-through process done & I will pay $100 for it.
