Essential Job Duties:
As part of a significant expansion in the College of Engineering, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University (NC State) invites applications for multiple faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor (tenure/tenure-track). We welcome applicants from all areas of materials science and engineering, with a preference for those specializing in computational and theoretical research.

Minimum Experience/Education:

• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, or in a related science or engineering discipline.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to contribute to undergraduate and graduate student education.
• Establish active externally funded research programs and to achieve excellence in teaching and training at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• For Senior-Level Applicants: Demonstrated leadership in collaborative research, a strong publication record, and a vision for advancing multidisciplinary efforts.
