The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach will be responsible for practice and game planning, as well as instruction and coaching during the traditional and nontraditional Soccer seasons. The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach will also serve as an instructor for the PHYD Women’s Soccer class.
This position also includes: assisting in the identification and the recruitment of prospective student-athletes; maintaining a recruitment database; communicating with prospects; arranging campus visits for prospects; evaluating prospects at recruiting events; assistance with Athletics game administration; assisting with venue set up and break down; assistance with team travel arrangements; administrative duties; and other duties as assigned by the UMW Women’s Soccer Head Coach or the Director of Athletics.
- 2 years of college coaching or 2 years of high-level club coaching experience, or collegiate playing experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience
- experience as an NCAA varsity student athlete, preferred
