The role you’ll contribute: Perform specific tasks or routines supportive to delivery of patient care in the physical medicine department under the direction of a Physical Therapist in accordance with FPTA standards. The value you’ll bring to the team: · Demonstrates through behavior AdventHealth’s Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork as outlined in the organization’s Performance Excellence Program. · The PT Aide supports the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Physical Therapist to promote the achievement of identified patient outcomes. · Assists therapist with assigned patients. · Performs unit tasks supportive to patient care and operations of the department. · Maintains a safe environment for patients, co-workers, and visitors. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : · High School graduate or equivalent upon hire. · Current American Heart Association BLS certification or RQI required upon hire. · One hour of Hip & Knee replacement surgery education required within 6 months of hire date, then annually.
